Pipeline Versioning and Publishing
Users can run pipelines on Quark by launching them straight from the Launchpad, or by navigating to My Pipelines and importing them using the Import Pipeline feature, or building them using the Visual Pipeline Builder.
Imported and custom-built pipelines need to be published and versioned before they can be run on Quark.
Publishing a Pipeline
- Select Pipelines from the navigator pane and click the My Pipelines tab.
- The dashboard lists all pipelines that you have either imported or custom-built, as indicated by the pip above your Pipeline Name.
- Select your pipeline, and click the drop-down option in the far-right column. The options displayed include Edit and Publish.
- Select Publish and enter a pipeline Version in the prompt message.
- The published pipeline is now ready to run on Quark. It will now appear in your list under My Pipelines.
- Select the pipeline to review its configuration and Run it on Quark.
Versioning a Pipeline
Save different edits you make to your published pipeline by versioning them.
- Navigate to My Pipelines and click the drop-down on the far-right column of the pipeline you want to version.
- Select Clone to clone your pipeline. Save the cloned pipeline under the name and version of your choice.
- Your pipeline will now display an additional sub-row for each version of the pipeline you edit and save.
- Click the pipeline version of your choice and make any edits from the drop-down from the far-right column.
- Select the pipeline to view the Run dashboard and to run it on Quark.
