Steps to Create a Workstation Template

Creating a Workstation Template

Administrators can create workstation templates to define standard configurations.

Steps to Add a Workstation Template

1. Navigate to "Workstation" in the left panel of the TRE-Infra-Admin app.
2. Click Add New Template.
3. Provide the following details:
4. Name (mandatory, up to 32 characters, must start with a letter, lowercase alphanumeric and hyphens allowed).
5. Description (optional, up to 255 characters).
6. Operating System (OS) (select from available options).
7. Template Visibility (choose between Global or Project visibility).
8. Specifications (Spec) (enabled after selecting an OS).
9. Click Save to create the workstation template.

Additional Notes

• Ensure all details are correctly filled before saving.
• Once created, the template name cannot be modified.
• Selecting the correct OS is essential as it impacts the workstation configuration.
