Add your AWS Account

To add your AWS Account,

  1. Click on Providers in the left menu and click on Add New button at the top right.
  2. You will be presented a list of Providers that you can add into Quark. Choose the AWS provider and click on Continue.
  3. Provide a Name and an optional Description.
  4. If you want to add your account using Access Key and Secret , turn on the Credentials toggle button and give your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
  5. Alternatively, Provide a Role ARN that can be used to connect to your AWS account.

    Note: We recommend to add your account using Role ARN.

  6. Select one or more Allowed Regions that you want to be enabled in this account.

    Note: Clusters and other cloud resources can only be provisioned in the regions that you enable here.

  7. Click on the Review and Create buttons to add your AWS Provider.

You should be taken back to the Providers list page where you should see your newly added Provider in Available status. You can now use this provider when you are creating any resource (such as Clusters) through Quark.

Editing your AWS Account

To make changes to an existing AWS Provider,

  1. Click on the Edit icon against a Provider in the Providers list page.
  2. You will be taken to the Edit Provider page where you can make changes and save.
  3. After making all the changes, click on the Review button.
  4. Review all the changes and click on the Update button to update the Provider.

Deleting your AWS Account

To delete your AWS Provider from Quark,

  1. Click on the Delete icon against the Provider you wish to delete in the Providers list page.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Enter any additional details required and click on the Delete button. The Provider will now be deleted from Quark.

    Note: If this Provider is currently associated to any Resource (such as Cluster) created through Quark, then it cannot be deleted.If you want to delete your provider, you must first delete all of the resources that are associated to it.
